Exploring the sidebar and toolbar

After this lesson, you’ll be able to:

• edit blocks with the sidebar and the toolbar;
• use the Document tab in the sidebar to prepare a post for publishing;
• publish a post;
• use the More tools and options menu in the block editor.

Note: In this course, we are using WordPress version 5.3.2. You may have another version of WordPress, and, most likely, you are using another theme and/or plugins. Due to all of those factors, what you see on your back end front end may be different from what we show you here. Still, most of the options and features are the same, so you don’t need to worry! You can find news on the latest WordPress updates in the manual below.
